If you are the Director or Secretary of a limited company and you change your name, you must notify Companies House of your change of name. You can do this yourself by downloading and printing the relevant form (CH 1 to CH 4 depending upon your role within the company), filling it in and posting it to Companies House. All of the different addresses for Companies House are set out below. Alternatively, if your company is a limited company and the company number is made up of all numbers, or has the prefix NI, RO or SC you can fill in the relevant form online by going to www.companieshouse.gov.uk and logging onto WebFiling. If your company is an LLP, you can also use WebFiling if the company number is made up of all numbers, or has the prefix OC, SO or NC.
