Our promise

Digi-Poll™ Archive
A name change is not a one-day event. Over the years your bank, a mortgage lender, a new employer or a passport renewal will each ask for proof, and each one may want its own certified copy. The Digi-Poll™ Archive keeps your change of name details on file so you are ready every time.
Your change of name details are stored securely, so nothing is lost if your own paperwork is.
Need another certified copy in two years? Order it from your archive instead of filling in a fresh application.
Certified copies ordered from your archive cost a fraction of what starting a fresh application would cost.
Add the Digi-Poll™ Archive as an optional extra when you apply.

Questions
A deed poll is a legal document that proves you have changed your name. An unenrolled deed poll is the route the vast majority of people in the UK use. It is a self-declaration: you sign it in front of two witnesses and your new name takes effect straight away.
An enrolled deed poll is a separate court process that places your name on the public record. It is not required in order to change your name, and it is not what we provide.
Anyone aged 16 or over who lives in the United Kingdom. For a child aged 15 or under, a parent or carer with parental responsibility applies on their behalf using our Child Deed Poll.
Applications received before 3pm, Monday to Friday, are processed the same day. Your documents are dispatched within 2 working days by First Class Post. Once you have signed in front of your witnesses, your new name is legally in effect immediately.
Most people find around ten is right. Every organisation you notify will want to see proof of the change, and some keep a copy for their records. Sending a certified copy means you never have to post your original document. You choose the quantity when you apply.

Our Name Change Kit gives you the completed forms and notification letters for all of them, so you are not researching each one on your own.
