START AN ADULT DEED POLL - £18.50After receipt of your UK Deed Poll, you will have to notify all relevant record-holders of your name change, and you will usually have to send them the original signed and witnessed Deed Poll, and not a copy. So, provided you have ordered enough duplicate copies, which should count as originals, as long as they are all signed and witnessed in exactly the same way and on the same day, you can notify many record-holders at the same time, and this will increase the speed of the process greatly. Provided you proceed to notify such record-holders immediately upon receipt of your Deed Poll and other documents, we would advise that the whole process will take between 3 and 8 weeks.
It will usually take HM Passport Office 3-6 weeks to process a new passport in your new name. However, your application with HM Passport Office can be speeded up by making an appointment and going to the Passport Office in person.
